Letting Grow x Eden

This special edition celebrates the launch of our charity tree-planting partner Letting Grow’s latest project, one we’re thrilled to be at the heart of.

We’re teaming up with Letting Grow once again, this time on the incredible Pear Tree Park project. In partnership with Ealing Council, they’re transforming the former Perivale Golf Course into a vibrant inner-city forest by planting 5,000 trees, a huge step towards a greener London!

A 49-acre green space in Perivale, opened in July 2024, the park is a key part of Ealing Council’s environmental strategy, which aims to make the borough carbon neutral by 2030. As part of this initiative, Ealing Council is:

 Planting 50,000 trees planted across the borough

Rewilding 800,000 sqm of land to boost biodiversity

Improving air quality and creating more green spaces for the community

WHY WE PLANT WITH LETTING GROW

Letting Grow works closely with a Forestry Commission consultant to ensure that the trees planted including oak, beech, rowan, cherry, and hawthorn are the best fit for the UK’s environment. Their meticulous planting approach results in an impressive 98% survival rate, as seen in last year’s Walkers Wood project.
